Before the adventure

A few things
to know.

A starting point for families and the youth programs that connect them with camp.

Who is the camp experience for?

Hills to Climb's program focuses on groups of middle- and high-school-aged young people from Baltimore. The team works with partner organizations to shape the experience around their groups.

How does my family get involved?

Participation is coordinated through established youth programs, rather than individual camp signup. Start with the organization connecting your camper to Hills to Climb. If you're unsure where to begin, ask our team for guidance.

What might campers experience?

Examples include kayaking, fishing, hiking, climbing, and group challenges that encourage teamwork and reflection. Activities vary with the group and program; these examples are not a promised itinerary for an upcoming session.

Is there a participation fee for families?

Hills to Climb does not charge participating families for the camp experience. Your partner organization can help with participation questions and the next steps for your camper.

Based on HTC's published program FAQ and partnership approach. For a look at past experiences, explore the annual reflections.

Keep your first message to general questions and contact details. Please don't include camper medical information, identity documents, or completed registration forms. Ask our team how to share any required information.
